What is the loading time of this template?

As is, the pages load at around 20 seconds over 28.8 modem connection.  That translates to 10 seconds over a 56k modem, and, ummm...  well, milliseconds over cable or DSL connection.  Our flash movie in the header is less than 15k, comparable to the average .jpg or .gif image file of the same size!

Can I easily change the colors on this template?

No, sorry.  We used background images to get the gradiant effect on the sides and the beveled effect on the horizontal bars, so you can't really change them unless you've got a good graphics program and are fairly adept at using it.

Can I change the flash movie?

Only if you have Flash 5 or MX and you know how to use it.  We have included the .fla source for the movies with the template package.

How do I change the lettering on the logo?

Our "YourName.com" is a graphic.  If you have a graphics program, you can open the two files from the images/design_elements/ folder, toplogoblank.jpg and istoplogoblank.jpg, letter then as you wish, then save them back to the images/design_elements/ folder as toplogo.jpg and istoplogo.jpg, respectively.  If you don't have a graphics program, you can delete our image and letter in FrontPage.

Why don't my text boxes look like those in the preview?

It sounds as if you've not applied the theme using CSS.  With the web open in FrontPage, go to Format, Theme - make sure "all pages" is selected in the upper left, then put a check in the lower left next to "Apply using CSS".  Click ok, and everything should adjust automatically.

Can I add more pages?

Certainly!  You can add as many as you wish!  Just use one of our blank page templates (see the "What's Included" page of this template).  Go to the Folder List (View, Folders) and open the template named blank.htm (or blank2.htm).  As soon as it is open, go to File, Save AS... - then save it as the name you want your new page to have.  Now, go to the Navigation view (View, Navigation).  Is your Folder List open as well?  If not, the go to View, Folder LIST to open it.  Next, locate the new filename in the Folder List (it's probably at the bottom), left click over it and while holding down the left mouse button, drag it over into the Navigation Structure and drop it where you want it, so that it is underneath either the Home page or another existing page.  Repeat every time you wish to add a new page!

Why can't I change the (pick a word) in the lower section???

The lower portion is contained in an included, separate page for your convenience.  This way, you only have to make the modifications on one page for them to appear on all pages.  Open the page include_bot.htm to make your changes, save, and you're done!  By the way, the upper portion is also contained in an included, separate page named include_top.htm.

Can I put my own images in the text area of the page?

Sure - you can do virtually anything with this template you can do with any web.  The only thing to make note of is this template is fixed in width, so your pictures *will* need to be sized so they don't expand the template, making a mess out of the header area!
